On August 22 1999 we (Dominik, Piero and Christian) climbed Mount Shasta, in northern California. We left at 5:30am and returned to the car a 8pm. It took 7 hours to get to the summit. The first 4 pictures are from the May 2000 trip. Snow all over the mountain, very strenuous. Ice-axe and crampons were very helpfull, but as Piero proved not essential. Comments?

Ehm ehm... can someone please add that piero had a torn ligament and still made it to the top? You know, old people like to be reminded of their achievements. In retrospect, it ranks very close to the top of my impossible-mission lists.
